RB Deshaun Fenwick could get some chances against Tennessee Saturday in Knoxville

Gamecock for the most part have primarily been a two-running back team this season, with Rico Dowdle and Tavien Feaster carrying the load, and Mon Denson stepping up when Rico Dowdle hurt his knee against Florida. Now with Rico out this weekend, Deshaun Fenwick could get some chances against Tennessee Saturday. (VIEW ARTICLE)

Good to see Fenwick get some opportunities through attrition. He looked pretty good last season, although it was against a FCS foe. But we'll be in a position where we could really use his contributions next season, with Dowdle, Feaster, and Denson all graduating. With Lloyd coming in, it looks like it will be Harris, Lloyd, and then Fenwick, and that's it unless we find someone else to add to the depth. These days, only 3 RBs is thin depth....
