According to an interview with Carson Mason of sportstalksc.com, T.J. Moore remains in contact with South Carolina.
“Coach (Shawn) Elliott just texted me this past Monday,” Moore said. “I have to talk with coach (Will) Muschamp but I have been talking with the coaching staff frequently. Nothing’s really changed. They still want me there, they still want me to be a Gamecock and everything is still the same.”
The former Gamecocks offensive line commitment said he plans to take an unofficial visit to Virginia Tech on Saturday.
Five-star defensive end Xavier Thomas will hit the road again on Saturday. On Wednesday morning, the No. 2 overall 2018 prospect from Florence, S.C. will head to Gainesville to watch South Carolina play Florida.
