DL DJ Jones of East Mississippi JC reaffirmed his plans Tuesday night to make an official visit to USC this weekend. Jones currently is committed to Florida State. Asked if anything might change this weekend, Jones replied, “No sir.” Jones has not scheduled any other official visits.
Jones’ teammate at East Mississippi, former Clemson quarterback Chad Kelly, has been talking the most about Ole Miss and Alabama.
LB Amonte Caban of Smiths Station, AL announced a commitment to Louisville Tuesday choosing the Cardinals over USC.
USC coach Frank Martin and his entire staff, Clemson coach Brad Brownell and VCU assistant Mike Morrell were present for Dreher’s Tevin Mack’s workout early Tuesday morning, the first day recruiters could visit with senior basketball prospects.
Martin had his in home visit with Spring Valley PG PJ Dozier on Tuesday. “Had a great home visit with the home town school today,” Dozier tweeted.
2016 OL Sean Pollard of Spruce Pines, NC plans to take an unofficial visit to Clemson Sunday. He will be at Duke Saturday.
6-5 Jacob Evans of Baton Rouge, LA will take an official visit to USC this weekend. He visited Tulane last weekend and is scheduled to visit Cincinnati next weekend.
