Recruiting in the SEC is hard to move up and take your place with the elite of the SEC

Will Muschamp has had a pretty good year from a recruiting standpoint. We have 1 commit that is a 5 star across the recruiting services. It's been awhile since SC could say that. Even with that, the Gamecocks are still stuck in the 7th position in the SEC recruiting rankings.

All this is to say that it is tough to bring in recruits with all the stars next to their names. I just hope Gamecocks are bringing in the student athletes that will take to Muschamp and Co. coaching style. I know the Gamecocks are in the final list for a couple more 5* kids. I hope our Gamecocks can bring in higher ranked kids this year and in the future. I know that some of the best guys the Gamecocks have had were not 5* guys, but it does make a difference over time.
What do you all think of our recruiting class so far? Is this as good as Muschamp will be able to do? Will we be higher in the rankings by the time the 1st and 2nd signing days get here?
