Pendleton DE Brad Johnson on his visit to USC Saturday: “It went well, ghd a great time.”  He will take official visits this fall  before deciding.

QB Kaymen Cureton of California did not make it to USC Saturday.  He was going to visit the Gamecocks while in the state for a family reunion in Beaufort but his family did not make that trip across the country.  Cureton said he’s not heard much from USC lately.  He remains committed to San Jose State but also is looking at Colorado State, San Diego State and Nevada.  He still holds interest in the Gamecocks.

ATH Eric Stokes of Stockbridge, GA was offered by Florida Saturday.  He camped at USC earlier in the week but has not yet been offered by the Gamecocks.  “They (USC)  said they loved me and  want to see me during a game.  They would love to keep the recruiting process going on.”  Stokes said he won’t make a decision until Signing Day.

2016 DE Mykelle McDaniel of Loganville, GA,  a one time USC target, signed Saturday with Tennessee.

2018 DL Malcolm Williams (6-2 270) of Coral Cables, FL reported an offer from USC after camp this week.  It’s his first offer.  “I like the coaches.  It feels like a family out there.  They said I’m real athletic to be a big a guy and I did good in one-ones.  They are really going to be on top of me going into my senior year since I’m young and going into my junior year.”

2018 RB Master Teague III of Murfreesboro, TN was at Clemson Friday and USC Saturday.

2018 DE Xavier Thomas of Wilson picked up a Miami offer Friday.
