Gamecock target RB Treyaun Webb of Jacksonville Friday named a top five of the Gamecocks, Florida, Baylor, Tennessee, and Penn State. Webb visited the Gamecocks earlier in the month and has set an official visit with the Gamecocks for June 24th. He has also set visits with Baylor and Penn State. . He will make his decision after he takes his officials.

2024 DB/WR Jalyn Crawford (6-2 183) of Lilburn, GA was offered by the Gamecocks.

Gamecocks offered 2025 LB Gavin Nix of IMG Academy.

Gamecock target OL DJ Chester was offered by West Virginia.

LB Tony Rojas plans to visit Gamecocks on April 7th. He’s going to Tennessee on April 5th.

Gamecock target DE Zavion Hardy was offered by Auburn.

Gamecock target DE TJ Searcy was offered by North Carolina.

Gamecock target 2024 TE Jack Larsen was offered by Alabama.

Weekend visit plans for some Gamecock targets:
  • SAF Caleb Woodson to Louisville
  • TE Jayvontay Conner to Virginia Tech
  • SAF Winston Berglund to Vanderbilt.
  • DT Xzavier McLeod to Auburn Friday, Alabama Saturday, and LSU Sunday.
 
Still way early in the recruiting process for 2023 - we have yet to gather a commitment for the cycle - but it seems to me there are more 4-star and above prep talent looking at us with interest than in the past 2 cycles. Whether that results in many of those kids committing to us in the end or not, is yet to be seen.....

Lots of buzz for a 2nd year coach, Beamer has something brewing in Columbia, SC... The expectations are high with the talent we have accrued and Coach Beamer seems to have it, you know it but you can't put your finger on it but he has it... If it is an offense this year his defense should have enough playmakers to give them a shot in every game and nothing sales talent like talent except winning and a coach with a culture of it...
