Recruiting Notebook 1.6.17: Gray set to name a top 5; Williams to visit Georgia; More 2018 offers by USC
USC target OL Tony Gray of Loganville, GA plans to announce a top five Friday. Besides USC, his offers include Florida, Boston College, Baylor, Kentucky, Alabama, Auburn, Michigan State, Tennessee, Texas A&M, Florida State, Louisville and Miami.
USC commitment DB Jamyest Williams said earlier this week he will take an official visit to Georgia this month. Williams told the Macon Telegraph he remains firmly committed to USC and will visit the Gamecocks the last weekend of January. When he committed to USC in late August he said he would take other visits. He took an official to Oklahoma December 3rd. Though he attends Grayson High in Loganville, GA, Williams actually lives in Athens.
USC offered 2018 WR Russell Brown of Lehigh Acres, FL, 2018 DB Dallas Gant of Toledo and 2018 TE Brevin Jordan of Las Vegas.
