Recruiting Notebook 12.15.16: USC offers Georgia WR; Webb to join Gamecocks for bowl practice; Joyner sets VT visit
USC Wednesday offered 2018 WR Jatavious Harris of Milledgeville, GA. “I was happy about the offer. I think the Gamecocks could be a great fit for me and my athletic ability. They like me all around I am a speedy long target.” Harris also has offers from Miami and Marshall.
Per SEC Country, USC commitment DE M.J. Webb of Madison, GA will join the Gamecocks for bowl practice Saturday. Webb is graduating early from high school and completes his semester this week so he will be eligible to practice with the team, but not play in the bowl game.
2018 QB Kereon Joyner of Fort Dorchester will visit Virginia Tech January 15th.
2018 DB Israel Mukuamu of Berkeley is moving to Bossier City, LA with his family. He has a USC offer. He’s the third member of the state’s 2018 class to announce a move for next season. DE Xavier Thomas of Wilson is going IMG Academy in Florida and WR Jordyn Adams of Blythewood is moving to Greenville, NC
