Recruiting Notes For April 6th
DE Brad Johnson of Pendleton will visit USC Wednesday according to coach Paul Sutherland. The coach is drivin Johnson in and he expects to arrive at 1:30 PM. The Gamecocks lead for Johnson and Sutherland said he’s not far from making a decision. “He is close but will not commit until he is 100 percent.”
ATH Terrence Brunson (6-3 233) of Calhoun County was offered by SC State and Texas-San Antonio Tuesday. He’s also drawing interest from USC, Clemson, North Carolina, Georgia Tech, NC State and Charlotte. His only visit so far was to Georgia Tech but he will be at USC Saturday for the spring game. He said USC likes him as a tight end and Clemson as a defensive end. Last season Brunson passed for 2259 yards and 35 touchdowns and rushed for 965 yards and 19 touchdowns.
DB D’Najee Whosendove of Allendale-Fairfax was offered Tuesday by Georgia Southern. This Saturday he’s going to Coastal Carolina and he will visit Appalachian State April 30th. He has been to USC and Georgia Southern.
DE Matthew Butler of Garner, NC was offered Tuesday by USC, Cal and Columbia.
