Some USC coaches took part in a satellite camp near Nashville, TN Thursday and handed out a half dozen offers:
OL K’Rojhn Calbert (6-5 295) of McMinnville, TN; DB Chris Bell (6-3 190) from Hendersonville, TN; LB TJ Minniffee (6-3 220) of Lebanon, TN; LB Cain McWilliams (6-1 225) of Lewisburg, TN; LB Jacob Phillips (6-4 228) of Nashville; 2018 DE Greg Emerson (6-5 275) of Jackson, TN.
USC commitment DE Tyreek Johnson of Lakewood was offered by Alabama per his coach Brian Jackson who said the offer came from Crimson Tide coach Nick Saban. Johnson went to a one day camp at Alabama Saturday with Lakewood’s strength coach and was offered. “He said it was a very nice campus but that’s about it,” Jackson said.
USC Thursday offered 2018 OL Dennis Wonnum (6-5 280) of Stone Mountain, GA, brother of USC frosh DE DJ Wonnum.
ATH Tancey Richardson of South Aiken is now hearing from UGA who wants to see him in camp. He also plans to revisit USC soon.
DL Breyon Gaddy of Virginia Beach has a top five of Clemson, USC, Florida State, Georgia and Tennessee.
DB Tank Robinson of Lake Marion visited Mississippi State Thursday.
