Recruiting Notes For March 31, 2017: USC offers another QB; Arizona QB to visit USC Saturday; More USC visits and offers
USC Thursday offered QB Chase Wolf (6-2 195) of Cincinnati. Wolf visited the campus on Thursday. He also has offers from Boston College, Cincinnati, Iowa State, Maryland, Pitt, Temple, Akron, Central Michigan and Rutgers. He also has visited Boston College, Duke and NC State. Wolf is unofficially the 14th quarterback in the 2018 class to receive a Gamecock offer though not all of them are being pursued or have returned a strong level of interest.
USC target QB Tyler Shough of Chandler, AZ was offered by Colorado State. He will be in with his dad Saturday for the spring game. It will be his first visit to USC. “I will be just touring the campus/facilities and meeting the coaches. And also watching the spring game. I don’t think I am at the top of their board but they really like me.” Shough will visit Western Kentucky April 22nd.
USC target LB Ernest Jones of Waycross, GA was offered by Mississippi State. He visited USC earlier in the week.
USC TE target Dominick Anderson of Arizona Western JC picked up an offer from Arizona. He talked with Will Muschamp on Thursday.
DE Jabari Ellis of Georgia Military JC plans to attend USC’s spring game Saturday.
RB Lavonte Valentine of Melbourne, FL plans to be at USC’s spring game Saturday.
USC offered OL Rasheed Walker (6-5 290) of Waldorf, MD. He also has offers from Maryland, Ohio State, Penn State and others.
USC target Chris Smith of Hapeville, GA picked up Ohio State and Michigan offers. He visited both this week.
USC offered 2020 ATH Cartavious Bigsby (5-11 185) of Hoganville, GA. He also has offers from Alabama, Florida, Michigan and others.
DL Dalton Widner of Corryton, TN visited USC Thursday along with WR Caleb Martin of Oak Ridge, TN and QB Parker McKinney of Coalfield, TN. All are in the 2018 class. USC has not offered any of the three at this point.
