3 star WR Traveon Samuel 5'8" 180lbs of Phenix City, AL continues to show strong interest in USC, and vice versa, and because he will graduate in December and enroll in January, he said USC would have room for him if he decides to go there.
“Coach Brown said they have another guy coming in, a slot from receiver, but if I can come in December, they will take me,” Samuel said. ‘I’m almost done. I have only two classes.”
Samuel was at USC’s camp last Saturday and he liked what he saw.
“It’s a great campus and great coaches,” he said. “They showed me the academics, the field, they showed me a lot. They would use me in a great way, like an Ace Sanders type of guy. I like it there, I just have to get back up there to get more comfortable.”
Samuel said he plans to return for a game this season. And he no longer has favorites. He had a top three of USC, Auburn and Florida State but he said he’s back open now with no favorite.
He will visit Louisville this weekend.
