Report states JC Jackson is a no go for USC

USC reportedly no longer is an option for DB JC Jackson, a native of Immokalee, FL who attends Riverside JC in California. JC Shurburtt of TheBigSpur, citing sources, reported Thursday night that “Jackson is not eligible to transfer to the Gamecocks in a ruling that’s beyond South Carolina’s control.”
There was no further elaboration on that but the SEC this spring strengthened its year old rule prohibiting transfers who had been disciplined by previous schools for “serious misconduct,” which is defined as “sexual assault, domestic violence or other forms of sexual violence,” by including “conduct of a nature that creates serious concerns about the safety of others.”
Shurburtt added that Jackson likely will land at Maryland with former Florida defensive coordinator DJ Durkin.
