Rick Hoskins Passed

Rick and I used to live on the same street.  He had posted a picture of his Challenger on one of the CT car threads, and I noticed it was the same car and house across the street and a few doors down, so that gave us common ground, more than just the Gamecocks.  I just found out that Natalie and I go to the same church.  I had never seen a picture of her, and didn't know that was her because of her married name.  I will be reaching out to her, and if the family needs anything that I feel we can help with, as GF members, I will pass it on to you guys.

He was a fun guy on CT and genius in his hands off approach to moderating. Condolences to his family and friends.

I owned a jacked-up, black 340 Barracuda back in the day that I unfortunately sold after I left for the Navy and I thought it was funny when he talked on CT that time about getting pulled by the law on the interstate.

I was one of only of a handful of Mopar guys in the area when I was younger and always had the attention of the local Chevy punks and the cops.  LOL

So I'll just post a few Challenger Jailbreak vids in his honor.

Rest in peace, Rick.

Rest in peace, Rick.

He loved his cars, and was always tweaking them.  He was kind enough to offer some insight, when my mom was thinking of selling her '66 Ford Mustang.

I remember he used to go 'round and 'round with TastyLicks in the old CT political forum.

He will be missed.

I think I met him once over at Chuck's. Chuck would have us over every now and then in the Cockytalk days. Chuck (Cockyhoskins), Ken (khosk), Cack, Morgan'n 7 (RIP to him too), and me were the typical gang. Spurticus even made an appearance once when he was in town.

Rick seemed to be the odd duck of the Hoskins clan. I got into it with him on occasion in the PF (but never took it personally). He seemed like a good dude and passed way too young. RIP.

wow...what a damn shame at 43...RIP RGHoskins!   I wonder what possible happened?  I hate to hear this

Rick had liver issues.

I mentioned it to the mods, but I spoke to Natalie's husband, Scott, and he said he would let me know if we could do anything collectively for the Hoskins family.
