Resurrected my late mom's Technics turntable with a phono preamp I got from Crutchfield so I could use it with my newer Panasonic receiver.
We finally got her estate closed this past spring so I have been going through the stuff she had a little at a time. She had saved all of my 45s I had when I was younger so I am taking a second childhood detour for a little bit. When all else fails, just crank up the volume, right?
After listening to CDs and stuff on YouTube for so long I finally understand what they mean when they say vinyl is still the best audio. You can really hear the richness on the horns, orchestration, and echo effects that really isn't there on CDs.
Vinyl records are choice. I highly recommend them if you have the means. B)
