Fairgrounds will be developed into restaurants, shops, and athletic housing. Not sure where all of the people would park there, have to find a new place for parking.

Not a Columbia resident, but curious where the State Fair would go?
Right, and who's payin' for it, too?
Not sure how that would work with the fair, as well as all the other expos it would also displace a lot of GameDay parking.
I think there will be a big announcement around November. I myself believe there is something in the works from my digging around.
