Clemson and USC are in good position with 3 star RB AJ Turner 5'10" 180lbs of Clinton VA. Turner visited USC back in April and enjoyed the trip. He has yet to visit Clemson but said they are likely to get an official visit.
“I don’t know if I’ll take any visits this summer and may just wait to make my next visits as officials (visits)” he said. “I have an idea which schools are at the top of my list but I don’t think I’m ready to release that list just yet.”
He was impressed by the personal attention he received while at USC.
“I was the only one there and they took the time to show me around and give me a feel for the campus life,” he said. “It was very organized and they didn’t mind answering any questions. I liked it a lot.”
Turner is leaving open the possibility of visiting Clemson this summer but, for now, wants to focus on his training.
“I’d like to play in one of the All-American Bowls and make my announcement there” he said. “It’s always been a dream of mine.”
He plans to take all five of his official visits and said he would like to determine which schools he will visit before the summer ends. He did not name a favorite.
