4 star ATH RayRay McCloud 5'10" 175lbs of Tampa has taken several visits to in-state schools but it appears Clemson will be his first out-of-state trip this year. He has been to South Florida and Florida State for junior days and has visited Florida and Central Florida as well.
“I plan on visiting Clemson in the next two weeks for a spring practice,” McCloud said.
The Tigers continue to show interest in McCloud. “I know they want me to come and play running back,” he said. “I know they’re a big school and are building their program.”
USC has offered as well though he has not heard from the Gamecocks recently McCloud still feels that USC is interested and would like to visit Columbia. He sees similarities between the Gamecocks and TIgers.
“I like both schools,” McCloud said. “They’re both relevant football schools that keep getting better. Both schools like me at running back but are saying that I could play defensive back too.”
McCloud does not have a preference between the two positions. He is taking his time with recruiting as he “studies the schools recruiting me.”
Miami is his next visit as he plans to attend a spring practice in South Florida next Tuesday. He does not have any favorites.
