Judging by a recent Instagram post by Hilinski, the true freshman is excited to see the field on Saturday and is asking Gamecock Nation to come out and support the team as they attempt to secure the first win of the season:

I must admit that I admire the kid's courage to play in spite of what happened with his brother.

The team may come together for a young newbie that needs their help to win.

2nd that.   Hope he lights it up.  He has the skills and fundamentals.  

 
I also hopes he brings a little swagger to the position, i.e. a little Tanneyhill.

 
I thought players were supposed to stay off social media during the season. Either way I hope he lives up to expectations.

 
Excited to see his performance! Very often the freshman play inspired but a bit sloppy so I have to be prepared for occasional missteps, but if the OC can pare it down to minimize mistakes then we should see improvement. Also we need to rely on our running game. I am glad to see Stanley back at the center position (not hating on Manos) as that was a weak point I thought.
