Samuel couldn't make it to USC Saturday
December 01, 2013
3 star Chapman WR Tyshun Samuel 5'11" 183lbs had planned to attend the USC-Clemson game Saturday but he wasn't able to make the trip according to his coach. Samuel was offered last week by the Gamecocks and they are the clear cut favorite to land his commitment, possibly on his birthday of December 14th though coach Mark Hodge said that's not an absolute because Samuel is taking the ACT that morning then is leaving for the Shrine Bowl. Though Samuel didn't make it to USC Saturday, his desire to join them hasn't changed. "He's excited about what's going on, excited about them, and yesterday (Saturday) did nothing but help that," coach Mark Hodge said. Samuel's season ended Friday night with a loss to Daniel. He had another standout performance with 9 catches for 257 yards and he scored four times. For the season he had 61 catches for 1184 yards and scored a total of 30 touchdowns.
In Friday’s loss to Daniel, Samuel had 9 catches for 257 yards and 3 touchdowns and scored another on the ground. For the season he had 61 catches for 1184 yards and scored a total of 30 touchdowns.
