Satruday Down South ranked DC's in the SEC for 2020

That was preseason. Would be interested to see where they got ranked today after we gave up 100,000 yards in about three games.

 
Yes and several DCs in the top tier were fired or not retained by the new HC. I guess I agree with a lot of the pundits who say not being able to practice normally due to COVID affected the defenses much more than the offenses. Also, many of the old tried and true defensive schemes don't work against these up tempo spread offenses. Having said that, I think that hiring the right guy for DC may be Coach Beamer's most important task.

I just hope the next guy does not give the opposing team receivers a 10-15 yard cushion on every play
