I don't know about the rest of you, but the UF has left such a bad taste in my mouth that I am dying to watch us come out again and beat someone just for the sake of getting that game behind us. I don't have much insight into the game as it was pretty cut and dry why we lost. The D needs to be given a lot of credit in the fact that they didn't completely roll over like the rest of the team did. The DL was once again outstanding and Jerideau played his best game to date. Clowney was the juggernaut he has been in every game (maybe with exception of LSU).
Something has to change with our offense clearly. I know most on here are saying the same, but I can't imagine how we can't get the ball in Ace's hands in open space. What happened to trickeration SOS had? Maybe a halfback pass, reverse, something to jump start the O. Ellington needs to touch the ball more. Damiere has shown thus far he needs help in holding on to the ball. I am not sure what needs to happen specifically, but I believe Shaw gives us our best chance to win regardless of where the game is. Our OL is simply not good enough to allow a non-mobile QB enough time to find open receivers.
I bought into the hype after UGA and still think that was a helluva win, but we clearly haven't gotten to the point where we can handle a physical team in a hostile environment. We got as good of players as ever,and I think that is the most disappointing thing about this all. Seriously, when are we going to be able to feed Marcus the ball and watch Clowney come off the edge fast as lightning ever again? These are once in a lifetime players and our window of opportunity to watch them carry us to a title this year has closed. I am just ready to get this terrible taste out of my mouth this weekend.
