Sean Connery dead at 90

RIP, Sir Sean. You were the best Bond over all the others.

Some later movies that I still love...."Hunt for Red October" & "The Untouchables".

We'll miss you 007.

When he won the Best Supporting Actor Oscar for The Untouchables, he received the first ever standing ovation from the audience.

Nobody has mentioned A Bridge Too Far where he played Roy Urquhart, the commander assigned to take the Arnhem bridge, the one bridge too far.

One of the best war movies ever made.  It also featured most every major American and British actor of the day.

He made the 007 movies.  There probably wouldn't be as many of them if he hadn't made it as popular as he did.

Yes he was excellent in that movie.  Man you're right, that movie was loaded with stars.  it was on a couple of nights ago and every time it's on I can't help but watch it.  It's very factual.  I assume they still do it in the Netherlands, I know when I was stationed in Germany they would have annual walks every year honoring the route the Allies took.

Great actor, big fan of his Bond movies. Questionable person off the screen.

Yep, Sean Connery was the definitive Bond for me.  Also loved him in Untouchables: "they send one of yours to the hospital, you send one of theirs to the morgue", that whole Chicago way speech is one of the best monologues in cinema.  I also liked him in the Presidio and The Rock
