Spring Valley LB Channing Tindall tried to limit his attention on recruiting during the season as his Vikings advanced deep into the playoffs.  But the season ended Friday night with the loss at Fort Dorchester.  Now, the Shrine Bowler and US Army All American  is ready to move into the final phase of his recruiting.

This Saturday Tindall plans to take an unofficial visit to Auburn.  He’s being recruited by the Tigers’ linebacker coach Travis Williams, a former Spring Valley star who went on to a standout career at Auburn.

Tindall has not yet scheduled his official visits but Georgia and Florida are definite for visits.  An official visit to USC, according to his stepfather, is not a definite because of its proximity and the ease with which they can drive over anytime for a visit.

Tindall will not be an early signee but would like to make his commitment in December if possible.

“He has an idea of a school he likes the most,” said Tindall’s stepdad Edward Dimes.  “He still wants to check more criteria that he wants to see on these visits.”

Tindall has taken three unofficial visits to USC this season and he also took one to Georgia.
