I don't see us doing better than 3-7 with this schedule.  I'd love to be wrong but damn what a schedule.  I could live with the 3-7 if we can at least look like a football team that can be competitive.  If we go out there and look listless and clueless like last year I don't see the point in keeping Muschamp.  Losing to teams like UNC and UVA is simply unacceptable.

If we play a full season I see 4 wins max.

in terms of my expectations, I’m not really sure what to expect. Given my pessimism toward even having a season, Will we be able to field a team week in and out with starters, avoid the injury bug and Covid bug? I guess a full week of practice should tell a lot.

as far as Champ goes, if we stink it up as I predict should he be let go,probably but will he, I doubt it.

I think it is going to be extremely tough bringing in a new OC and not really having any real practice time to implement the system is going to make this a tough row to hoe.  I am ready to see what Hilinski can do when healthy.  He basically played last year on one leg.  I also want to see how the DL can play.  This is the most talent on paper that we have had along that front line in a long time.

I predict 2-1 for a wining season.

UT - W

Fla - L

Vandy - W

And then the season is cancelled due to Covid.

If we play the full season, 3 or 4 wins max unfortunately.  Regardless of the game plan and coaching on either side, there just isn't enough talent.

I'm still thinking we won't have a season. However, if we somehow get in ten games, I'm afraid 5 and 5 might be the best we can do. Having said that, nobody knows what might happen. Honestly, how many of you thought LSU would catch lightening in a bottle last year or that Auburn could go undefeated with a JUCO transfer QB in 2010. It's college football and anything is possible.

Maybe 3 wins. Too many talented opponents with lots of depth & better coaches.

Assuming we make it through the season by some miracle, I'm gonna say 3-7, with wins against Vandy, TAMU, and Missouri.

I like our chances with a Muschamp defense and the new Bobo offense against every opponent we play. We have a ton of depth albeit young but extremely talented on the Defensive side of the ball, the DLine is loaded with talent, the secondary looks to have a great 1st unit with some experienced pieces to work in and a nice stock of talent at the LB position for a defensive minded coach. We have an experienced Oline with solid depth and experience at QB and a ton of athleticism on the offensive side of the ball for a very experienced offensive coordinator that will mix up looks and not just go as fast as they can. I worry a little about WR but we have some very talented and athletic pieces to go with a very talented group of TE's. I will predict a 9-1 season as the GAMECOCKS play there best ball as underdogs with little expectations from the fans, will be fun to watch those fans that are pulling for us to be terrible tells us how we would be better of losing...

Normally I would be concerned, but continuity between him and Bobo will be to our advantage because they're both coming from the same program at the same time.

He looks like he's cool in the saddle instead of a clueless noob.

9 more days? Math is not your strong suit, LOL.

This has been a bizarre year for foosball and everything else. Normally, I would be chomping at the bit, reading up on Phil Steele and going crazy with anticipation. Now it does not seem that it is really real.

But once Sandstorm kicks in, I'll be ready. The team owes us after last year's fizzle.
