SEC and National Media Select Gamecocks To Win SEC

::   Oct. 17, 2019 - A combination of SEC and national media selected their pre-season choices for winning the Southeastern Conference Championship in women's basketball, for the 2019-2020 season. South Carolina was the voted favorite to win, ahead of Texas A&M and Mississippi State. In addition to the team voting, two Gamecocks made the Preseason All-SEC selections: Senior PG Tyasha Harris was selected on the All-SEC First Team, and Senior F Mikiah Herbert-Harrigan was chosen for the All-SEC Second Team.
