It was a busy recruiting week in the SEC. Georgia loaded up with five commitments for the 2013 class, including three in one day on April 6.

Aulden Bynum, a 6'5", 270-pound offensive lineman from Valdosta, Ga., made a pledge to the Bulldogs. Bynum is rated as a 3-star recruit, according to 247Sports.com. He chose Georgia over Auburn, Ole Miss and Miami (Fla.).

Also committing to the Bulldogs on April 6 was 6'1", 230-pound linebacker Ryne Rankin. Rankin hails from East River High School in Orlando, Fla. He's rated as a 4-star by 247Sports.com and has to be impressed with what defensive coordinator Todd Grantham has been able to do in Athens.

Not to be outdone, 6'2", 185-pound wide receiver Kyrin Priester also told the Georgia coaches that he'll be a Bulldog. Priester is a native of Snellville, Ga. and is rated as a 4-star by 247Sports.com. With Tavarres King out the door this year and Malcolm Mitchell moving over to play defensive back as well as wide receiver, Priester will get the opportunity for early playing time.

J.J. Green, a 5'9", 175-pound cornerback from Camden County High School in Kingsland, Ga., committed to the Bulldogs on Monday. He's a bit on the short side, but so was former Georgia cornerback Brandon Boykin—and he's going to be drafted rather early in the upcoming NFL draft.

Georgia wrapped up a stellar recruiting week with the commitment of 6'2", 230-pound defensive end Reginald Carter out of South Gwinnett High School in Snellville, Ga. Carter is rated as a 3-star recruit by 247Sports.com and is its 17th-ranked weak-side defensive end in the nation.

Florida had a busy week too, getting the pledge of three commitments for 2013 on April 7, and four total. Headlining the group is 6'4", 200-pound wide receiver Ahmad Fulwood from Bishop Kenny High School in Jacksonville, Fla. He's rated as the No. 10 wide receiver in the country by 247Sports.com, and he can step in and contribute immediately for a Florida team that is in search of playmakers on the outside.

Offensive tackle Joshua Outlaw pledged to play for head coach Will Muschamp as well. Outlaw is a 6'4", 280-pound offensive tackle from Lithonia, Ga. He chose Florida over Auburn, Arkansas and Clemson.

The Gators went north to Jersey City, N.J. to get the commitment of 5'11" cornerback Tre Bell. Bell is listed as a 3-star recruit by 247Sports.com, and he chose the Gators over Boise State and UConn.

Cameron Dillard told Florida that he will play for the Gators a couple of days after the trio of players committed over the weekend. Dillard is a 6'3", 280-pound offensive lineman from Michigan. He is rated as a 3-star prospect by 247Sports.com.

Ole Miss picked up its fourth commitment for 2013 with the pledge of 6'2", 265-pound defensive tackle Christopher Robinson. Robinson chose the Rebels over offers from Auburn, Mississippi State and Arkansas State.

South Carolina got some linebacker help with the commitment of Kight Dallas from Arabia Mountain High School in Lithonia, Ga. Dallas committed to the Gamecocks over the weekend while on an unofficial visit, choosing them over offers from Auburn, N.C. State, North Carolina and Wake Forest.

New SEC member Texas A&M also got some good news on the recruiting front with the commitment of 3-star defensive end Jay Arnold. Arnold is a 6'4", 240-pounder who had offers from Ole Miss, Baylor, Purdue and several other FBS schools.

Decommitments

The biggest decommitment of the week was wide receiver Austin Bennett, who told Richard Davenport of the Arkansas Democrat-Gazette that he was reopening his recruitment following Arkansas' dismissal of former head coach Bobby Petrino. Bennett is a 6'1", 170-pound wide receiver from Texas, and he could certainly have been an asset in Petrino's system.
