Nice write up in SI online but one paragraph is telling.

Under the package, ESPN and ABC have rights to broadcast the league’s 15 best football match ups as well as eight marquee basketball games. ABC now has rights to the SEC football championship game, which it will air in its traditional late-afternoon slot. And starting next year, the network can broadcast one non-conference football match up on ESPN+ with each team.

I just spend weeks working through my TV package in order to get the best sports coverage for next year and it is not cheap. Now the SEC want me to go sign up with E$PN+ and pay even more $50. a year. Now look I am not a tight wad but come on it all adds up in these Covid-19 days. Overall it is a good deal for the conference.

They have already pretty much broadcast all of our games from years past on either espn or espn+.  I would think they could broadcast any game they want, not under contract from another network, as long as the money is there to televise.
