Personally, I think we’re getting shafted again.  We’re a better, more experienced team.  We don’t have the “flashy” recruiting rankings, but we’re returning a full squad, plus have Seventh Woods to compliment an already deep collection of guards.  I mean come on... no respect, once again.

It's not surprising to be picked 8th. We've finished 6th or better in 4 of the last 5 years, yet will continue to get picked lower because of the name on the front of the jersey. To me, it seems that 4th-10th is a jumble and you could pick a name out of a hat. With as tight as that might be, I like our experience and balanced roster to perform better than predicted.

But hey, 8th is better than the ESPN predictions. 4 of their analysts had us at 10th and 1 at 11th. We really get no respect from them.

I just hope the coaches and team can use this as some motivation to prove them wrong.

Its just opinions.  Uneducated opinions.   I would be very surprised if USC finishes outside the top 5, provided they don't have some injuries.  This is a talented and deep team.

We'll make a run at the SEC title, but finish 3rd behind Tennessee and Kentucky.

I think this is Martin's most talented team yet.

Seems like it would have been a no-brainer to pick us Seventh.....

We should be much better than 8th, but we do have issues at Center without Maik Kotsar.  He did so much for us - the offense ran through him.

Wildens Leveque has potential, but losing Iriel makes us really thin at Center.

I expect to see a lot of Frink in the post. He lacks length but is strong enough to body up other bigs, and can score a lot of points with his inside/outside game.
I see what you did there....

I think we're always a #4-6 team because of Frank's passion during the season.

We would be Top 4 for sure if we had a consistent star/leader who could put us over the top in most games.

That's been the one elusive commodity during Frank's tenure here.
