SEC still rules in updated recruiting rankings
ESPN Recruiting has again updated its team recruiting rankings and SEC teams are still sitting pretty in the top 25.
We've seen a few more commitments, but not a lot of movement from SEC teams, which still comprise 10 of the 25 teams in ESPN's team rankings.
A few SEC schools did slip in the rankings, as Auburn fell from No. 9 to 10th, LSU went from 13th to 14th and South Carolina dropped from 15th to 16th. Nothing major, but Clemson's commitment from top recruit Robert Nkemdiche shuffled things up, as the Tigers moved from 15th to 12th. Also, Florida State moved up to ninth from 11th.
Florida is still tops among SEC schools, as the Gators' 2013 class ranks second nationally. Florida currently has 18 verbal commitments, including seven ESPN 150 members and 12 ESPN 300 members. Alabama remains third nationally, with 18 verbals, including seven ESPN 150 members and 14 ESPN 300 members.
Rounding out the SEC schools in ESPN's latest top 25: Georgia at No. 5, Texas A&M No. 6, Auburn No. 10, LSU No. 14, South Carolina No. 16, Ole Miss No. 20, Mississippi No. 22 and Vanderbilt No. 23.
