I thought Shaw played much better. He hung in there and took some HUGE hits. Really would like to see us do more to protect him.
That brings me to the offensive line. By this point in the season, usually what we see is what we get. They look good at times, and bad at times. I do hope there is something they can do to keep getting better.
IMO, 23 is a fawking playmaker who needs to see the ball more. I'm hoping, after today, he will.
Not sure if we can make it with only Miles and Davis and, I guess, Josh Blue? I'm wondering if the coaches use these two weeks to prep Wilds or will they try to make it without him? Miles and Davis looked good, though.
I think the defense REALLY missed Quarles and Auguste. Christian was lost at times and needs to continue to develop. That was a lot of action he saw today, and that will help with who we've got upcoming.
The defensive line could have played better, sure, but without Quarles, and Jerideau for much of the game, and going up against a frigging NFL defensive line, I'm inclined to give them a pass.
