What are ‘GPS numbers’ that Shane referred to at practice?
I think it's the device that fits in a little pocket on the back of a vest that all of the players wear during training that measures distance run, speed, intensity via heart rate, and probably a bunch of other stats. I think this device migrated over from professional soccer. Supposedly, it's also supposed be able to "predict" stress injuries based on workload, show fitness and effort levels...stuff like that.

IIRC that system was brought in by Will to improve performance and minimize injuries.

Didn't know they still used it.

Pretty good details about the significance of this game that I didn't know about before now.

Stuff like this is why we will do pretty well once the basics are figured out and we keep improving.
