Beamer: Sherrod Greene had surgery this morning after getting back from Athens. "Obviously he'll be out for a while."
Beamer: Anticipates Zeb Noland being back for this Saturday night's game with Kentucky. Noland injured his hand versus Georgia.
Beamer: Defense versus UGA: "3rd downs on defense were not good at all. One of the keys to the game was getting off the field on third down."
Beamer: The end of the 1st half decision to try and pass out of the end zone. "We had made some plays in the passing game and we thought that might be an opportunity to hit a big play on them. I, not Marcus Satterfield, I told Marcus to take a shot."
Beamer: "I gave Georgia five points.
Beamer: Luke Doty's play, "it was really impressive what he did last night. Proud of him and the toughness he showed."
Beamer: Cam Smith's injury. "He got that foot stepped on. We got an X-ray on it earlier today. We fully expect him to be ok for Saturday night."
Beamer: learning to coach better moving forward, "I spent a lot time studying and thinking about situational football and was trying to be aggressive. I probably didn't put our players in the best position (right before halftime)."
Beamer: evaluating the offensive line through three games. "We didn't do a lot good last night. That's all of us, coaches, offensive line, quarterbacks, running backs. We've got to continue to look at what our offensive line does well and continue to work on that."
Beamer: "Give Georgia a lot of credit. I don't care who your offensive line is, you're going to have a hard time blocking that group."
Beamer: UK week, "it's the next game. It's another SEC game. We got to be better."
