Shaw said that he has a crack in his shoulder blade. He said he got hit right in the wrong spot. Also said the pain got worse the more he threw the ball.
Spurrier: We’ll have to wait and see how he comes back. He didn’t practice much last week and maybe that was a reason. Maybe we had some bad plays on. Sometimes you have to watch the tape. We’ll watch the tape and see what we need to do. That’s what we’ll do right there. We’ll see how healthy he is and then go from there. If we need to use two quarterbacks at times, Dylan can make some throws. He’s proven that the last two weeks. Connor has played too well for us to think we have some issues now. If he gets hit and goes down like that, it’s not right to put him out there. The doctors need to see if he’s going to get well. He got hit right on the exact spot and caused a lot of pain.
