LB Sherrod Pittman of Jacksonville had is in home meeting with USC coach Steve Spurrier Friday night and the long time Gamecock commitment said afterwards he no longer is considering taking a visit to Florida and is “110%” with his USC commitment.
OL Paris Palmer of Lackawanna JC, PA officially announced on Twitter Friday night is decommitment from USC and his commitment to Penn State. “To all the fans in the Gamecock nation,” Palmer wrote, “I just want to say that this decision wasn’t one that came easily. At the end of the day I had to go with my gut feeling and make what I thought was the best move for me and my family down the road.”
DL DJ Jones of Wren and East Mississippi JC told SCPrepNation he will sign Wednesday with either Florida State, Ole Miss or Alabama. USC also was under consideration.
