My friend and fellow Gamecock alum/fan (and poster at my former site named "carolinabandfan") works in the Legislature.

He texted this to me just a few minutes ago:

Today is officially Sir Big Spur Day as passed by the South Carolina House of Representatives.  Sir Bug Spur was just recognized in the House chambers, and after he was recognized, he actually CROWED.  It was awesome!!!
