Stats after the fact are bit misleading. Either some of you didn't watch the game or have simply forgotten that KY dropped a whole lot of balls that were thrown into the hands of their wide open receivers. KY could have had a 'bama' style passing night if their receivers could catch the ball. Thankfully they didn't.
also as a team right now we're 31st vs fbs teams in sacks per game. we havent finished in the top 50 since 2012 when we finished 4th. i thought going into the season this dline had that kind of potential. also going into the last game we were i believe 103rd in yards per play allowed vs fbs, we jumped all the way up to 73. despite that brutal start and tough schedule, i still think this unit can end up top 35 by the end of the season.
The Kentucky QB was not very accurate most of the night and that was due to coverage and pressure. He did have receivers drop som balls but many of the misses were just poor throws and some miscommunication with the receivers. I don't believe his evening would or could approach what Tua was able to do.
