LB Brandon Hill of Heathwood Hall Wednesday picked up a commitment from Virginia Tech. That’s his fourth offer, all from the ACC. The others are from Clemson, Wake Forest and Duke. Hill attended Clemson’s junior day last month. He will go to Duke February 21st, Wake Forest on the 22nd and Florida State on the 28th. He does not claim a leader.
Lake Marion DB James Valdez was offered Wednesday by Michigan. Valdez currently is committed to NC State. He also holds offers from USC, Tennessee, North Carolina and Wake Forest.
OL Jack DeFoor of Calhoun, GA picked up an offer Wednesday from Valdosta State. DeFoor is a Clemson target and has been strong on the Tigers since attending their junior day. He also has offers from Clemson, Ole Miss, Cincinnati, Middle Tennessee, Georgia Southern and Appalachian State.
Florida State is the latest offer for Goose Creek DE Javon Kinlaw. He also has has offers from USC, Clemson, Florida, Alabama, East Carolina and Louisville. Currently he favors USC.
LB Tyler Ragsdale of Wando plans to walk-on at USC and DL Shone Brodus of South Aiken is considering doing the same.
WR Tre Nixon of Viera, FL picked up an offer from USC earlier in the week.
