Steve Spurrier has never been shy about expressing his thoughts when it comes to his quarterbacks.
As the Gamecocks continue spring practice, the Head Ball Coach is far from pleased with his passing game. Spurrier has referred to the Gamecocks’ passing attack as “sad,” “pitful,” and “sorry” in the past week.
The Gamecocks are hoping the passing game will take some of the pressure off the rushing attack, which has carried the offense at times during the past few seasons. Spurrier did say that the running backs have had a solid spring thus far.
In injury news, Shamier Jeffrey will be out for the rest of spring practice with a meniscus tear and Cedrick Cooper has a back strain.
South Carolina has four practices remaining before the Garnet & Black spring game on April 14th at Williams-Brice Stadium.
