South Carolina announced Monday afternoon plans to retire the jersey worn by All-American receiver Alshon Jeffery. The retirement ceremonies will take place at halftime of the Mississippi State game on September 23rd. Jeffery will become the sixth Gamecock football player to have his jersey retired. Jeffery wore #1 on his USC jersey, but the school has gone away from retiring particular numbers. (READ FULL ARTICLE)
