South Carolina commitments Deshaun Fenwick, Ernest Jones IV arrive for Muschamp Camp

South Carolina 2018 commitments Deshaun Fenwick and Ernest Jones IV are among the headlining prospects at the Will Muschamp Football Camp on Thursday.
Fenwick, a 3-star running back from Braden River High School (Bradenton, Fla.), spent a good bit of the morning with future position coach Bobby Bentley. Muschamp and offensive coordinator Kurt Roper also caught up with Fenwick, who is ranked by the 247Sports composite as the No. 11 all-purpose running back.
Jones, a 3-star linebacker from Ware County High School (Waycross, Ga.), hung out with future position coach Coleman Hutzler for most of the morning. Jones, the No. 53 outside linebacker in the country, announced his commitment to the Gamecocks on Hutzler’s birthday, May 5.
Another offered 2018 defender from Georgia is camping with South Carolina on Thursday.
Three-star defensive tackle Tramel Walthour is up from Liberty County High School (Hinesville, Ga.). Walthour (6-4, 277) is ranked as the No. 47 defensive tackle in the Class of 2018. Several SEC schools have offered, including Auburn, Georgia and Tennessee.
Three-star cornerback JaKorey Hawkins, a 2018 prospect from Lee High School (Birmingham, Ala.), lists several Power 5 offers, to go along with the Gamecocks. Hawkins is ranked as the No. 62 cornerback in the Class of 2018.

Andrew Booth, a 2019 cornerback from Archer High School (Lawrenceville, Ga.), made it to Columbia for a workout with defensive coordinator/defensive backs coach Travaris Robinson. Booth has several ACC and SEC offers, including South Carolina.
A pair of emerging quarterback prospects are also on hand, including 2019 3-star (247) Chandler Fields and 2020 target Roman Purcell.
Fields (6-0, 190) attends Archbishop Rummel in New Orleans. Memphis has offered. Purcell (5-11, 177) played his freshman year at St. Peters Prep in New Jersey, but he recently moved to Indianapolis. TCU has offered.
