3 star Center Brett Heggie 6'4" 290lbs (Mount Dora, Fla.) said an Auburn would be "big." He's visiting Auburn March 7. He said he received a glowing message from Tigers offensive line coach Jeff Grimes.
"Coach Grimes said I'm his No. 1 center in the 2016 class," Heggie said. "He also said he's taking a center. So that's interesting." Cincinnati, UCF, South Carolina, North Carolina State, Tulane, FIU, West Virginia, Indiana and Memphis have offered.
Auburn, Duke and Northwestern are showing interest. Heggie said UCF is the 'most consistent' team recruiting him. "I have a real good relationship with their staff," Heggie said. West Virginia will get a summer visit and South Carolina will get on in April on the Spring Game.
The 6-foot-4, 290-pounder hopes Vanderbilt, Clemson and Ole Miss offer.
Heggie remains wide open. "I don't have enough details to pick anyone that sticks out," Heggie said. "I like UCF, West Virginia, South Carolina, Indiana and Cinncy. Auburn would be a big offer for me."
