South Carolina is set to receive a visit from four-star running back Elijah Holyfield 5'11" 2015lbs (Atlanta, Ga./Woodward Academy) on Friday. The Gamecocks are scheduled to hold practice at the new practice facility. This will be Holyfield's second visit to South Carolina this spring.
Holyfield is former high school teammates with Gamecocks wide receiver Terry Googer. The four-star tailback said recently that he planned to get back to Columbia this spring and is making good on that promise.
"They’re a school I’m considering," Holyfield said recently about the Gamecocks. "They’re in the SEC, play big-time football and have produced good running backs.”
