South Carolina recruiting class far from locked in as signing day nears
Jan. 20, 2017
Heading into the second official visit weekend of the month, there’s certain to be more movement in and out of the 2017 South Carolina signing class.
The Gamecocks picked up another commitment last Sunday when Jordan Rhodes hopped on board before wrapping up his official visit.
South Carolina is clinging to the commitments by Jamyest Williams and Hamsah Nasirildeen, trying to fend off Georgia and Florida State, respectively.
Plus, Kyshaun Bryan’s spot in the class hasn’t been available for some time. He’s expected to make a public announcement before signing day.
Will Muschamp’s staff is also working to regain commitments from Georgia commitment Devonte Wyatt and Javon Kinlaw, along with a few others, including Brad Johnson.
