Good for him. I understand the argument for not playing, to avoid injury -- if you are going to the NFL, . But TO ME, that seems like quitting on your team. I'm assuming every team has goal's for the season, one of which is typically a bowl win. To opt out before your team's seasonal goals are finished is quitting on your team. Most of your teammates are not going to have a professional football options and bowl games are their ultimate season reward. To diminish teammate's chances of accomplishing bowl win aspirations seems selfish -- especially in light of NIL paychecks. So good for Spencer.
