A BCS coach says: “The Ball Coach is doing there what he did at Florida. It’s just taking him longer now because he wasn’t set up to win like he was at Florida. It’s a lot more difficult to recruit to South Carolina than it is Florida. If he wins the SEC at South Carolina, there’s Bear Bryant and then there’s Spurrier in the history of that conference.”
Wow, now that would be fine company for coach Spurrier indeed. Hopefully he'll cement this status by bringing home a national championship!
