With the lack of any sports going on right now, I've found myself resorting to watching sports movies instead. I rewatched a few that I've seen before such as Goon, Invincible, and Rocky. And then I decided to watch some I've been meaning to watch, but never did. Today was The Program and Hoosiers. These are both movies that I've seen people talk about for years, but I just never got around to watching them. Well I thoroughly enjoyed The Program, and it was nice seeing the scenes in and around Williams Brice. Hoosiers was not my cup of tea. I know it's one of the usual suspects to find atop "Best Sports Movies" lists, but I just don't really get it.

Are there any others you guys like?

The guy who played Ray in Hoosiers played at Michigan .

the natural is a great flick. I like coach carter. And there is always Victory

I'll second The Natural and Coach Carter.

Some others that I enjoy, The Sandlot, Bad News Bears (originals with Walter Matthau), and Blue Chips

Hoosiers is on my list...maybe I'll get around to it soon.

Went and looked through my movie collection to find other sports movies. I'm a little surprised at how few sports movies I have and how bad those movies are (see Baseketball lol).

I did leave off a great one in The Karate Kid. Sweep the leg!
