SPRING DRILLS OPEN TUESDAY

COLUMBIA, S.C. (March 12, 2012) – The University of South Carolina will open its spring practice slate on Tuesday, March 13. Practice is scheduled to begin at 4:15 p.m. at the Bluff Road Practice Fields.
All media interview requests should be made to Steve Fink (finksc@mailbox.sc.edu or (office) 803-777-7987 or (cell) 803-240-5268) by 11 a.m. on the day of the scheduled practice. We will alternate offensive and defensive players/coaches for each practice. Following the Saturday scrimmages, we will make the “scrimmage standouts” available. Please note the schedule listed below to determine which days which players/coaches will be available.
All 15 of the spring practice sessions are open to the public unless determined otherwise. Most practices will take place at the Bluff Road practice fields beginning at 4:15 p.m. Saturday scrimmages will take place at Williams-Brice Stadium at 10 a.m. All dates and times are subject to change.
Persons with cameras will be permitted to shoot the first 15 minutes of each practice only. After that, no still or video photography will be allowed during the practice sessions without prior consent from the Athletics Media Relations Department. Also, autographs will not be allowed at the practice sessions.
The Garnet & Black Spring Game will be held Saturday, April 14, beginning at 1 p.m. at Williams-Brice Stadium. Admission to the spring game is free. A pre- and post-game FanFest is currently being planned for fans of all ages. More specific information will be available at a later date.
