Today the USC football team arrived in Orlando for their second trip to the Capital One Bowl in three seasons. If you add in the Gamecocks’ trip this season to play at Central Florida, USC has played three times in Orlando in just as many seasons.
Shortly upon arrival the Ol’ Ball Coach addressed the media, and was quick to point out the many congruences in their previous stays recently in the sunshine state.

There was football related news as well. The Gamecocks will be down two receivers in the Capital One Bowl. Junior Damiere Byrd was declared out with a knee injury a couple of days back, and now you can add Sophomore Kwinton Smith to the list of receivers who won’t be catching passes on new years day. Smith, however, is an academic casualty
