Basically said that Moron has been slandering his name and that he isn't standing up for it anymore and that something will change. Said that if taking his crap is a part of the job, then he'll hit the beaches.
He didn't mention morris by name but continued to say "you know who I'm talking about" He said that The State was his (ron's) platform, and he said Carolina Calls is mine (SOS) and he said that he'd been taking this crap for 5 years and this past week he'd hit the limit and wasn't going to take his crap any longer.
Said that everyone should know that things were being done this week to eliminate this man from doing this any more, and that the president, Ray Tanner and the administration was backing him on it... said they were all working with the State to get this solved (maybe this week). Spurrier also said that 80% of The State was run by good people, and he had no issues with them or the paper. Said he urged all the people who had canceled perscriptions the past few months to give them another chance and said "Things are about to get much better there, and they were working on correcting the problem and to get a good relationship going with the paper.
He just ended the show by saying "getting back to what we were talking about earlier, I really mean it when I said good things were about to happen with the town, the school and the media as a result of this situation. Said Sometimes good things come out of bad situations.
